- Must have a good knowledge and capability
- In the discipline(s) and technologies
- Being used, or applied to the project
- To enable strategic technical choices
But from a management perspective, must
- Have a good understanding of project management
- Have mastered the arts of asking, observing
- Acquire a knowledge of the client's domain
- And the business opportunities
- That the client is trying to capture
