- Since project managers spend 70+% of their time on it
- Yet it is the most under valued
- And under represented in the literature
- Runs the gamut of generating, distributing, storing, retrieval, and archiving information
Information exists in many forms
- Hard/soft copy, media, temporary/permanent, legal, etc
- Each requires a specific kind of attention
- And are collectively referred to as "artifacts"
