Reporting Responsibility
An essential part of any project manager's duty
- Is to report on the status of his or her project
Sponsors and stakeholders want to know
- Where the project is at, what they can expect, and when
Simple, concise reports
- Can maintain their interest
- And greatly improve the success of the project
- In terms of a favorable reception of the outcome
But project managers are often buried in detail
- And find it difficult to "sort the wheat from the chaff"!
