  • Use an RFQ to request a price or prices

    • For standard products
    • That may be purchased in varying quantities
    • By purchase order (PO)

• Example

  • Office and maintenance bulk supplies
  • Software licenses

• When the PO is issued to the supplier

  • The purchase order is the offer

    • And becomes the contract
    • When accepted by the supplier
