- Advertise internally and externally
- Be as specific as possible
- Be consistent with Step 1
- Emphasize the opportunities and challenges
- But don't over sell, nor conceal the obvious
Gather the responses
- Compare the submissions against the elements in Step 1
- Pick out, say, 3 to 5 applicants that seem the best fit
