Some useful ideas
- Share both good and bad information
- Early in the morning to avoid work interruption
- Get new information out quickly
- Before news is stale and has appearance of secrecy
- Focus on topics of meaning to your people
- They'll want to know "What's in it for me?"
- Give both sides of any controversial issues
- And let your people draw their own conclusions
- If you are not comfortable with the material
- It's probably because either you are,
- Or the material is poorly positioned
