How do I measure progress? - 1

There are a number of ways

• Some more reliable than others
• Depending on the nature of the activity
• Units completed

  • By measuring quantities
• Milestone increment

  • The % of a milestone that is completed
• Start/Finish tasks

  • Discrete items finished
• Using an arbitrary scale of 0%, 50% or %100

  • Only works where there are a lot of tasks that average out
