For our position descriptions we have adopted a simple organizational hierarchy rather than a know-how scale, although there is some natural correspondence
(1 Operational level)
- 2 First supervisory level
- 3 Technical Manager
- 4 Project Manager
- 5 Project Director, Sponsor, PMO Manager, etc
- All incumbents are expected to be knowledgeable and competent in project work at their respective levels
- The measure of competency is a different issue!
