Do a test run
- Give the manual to someone who has not used the procedures
- And ask them if they can follow it correctly
- Listen to the responses
- And fix the weaknesses
- (Pride of authorship resistance has no place!)
Lastly, keep the manual up-to-date
- Continually ensure that the manual reflects the latest thinking
- Otherwise, it will fall into disrepute
- And just gather dust on the shelf!
